Nicole’s journey began at a young age, when her piano became not just an instrument, but a trusted companion through life’s highs and lows. With every note, she found solace, happiness, and a way to express herself. Inspired by her experiences, Nicole started her career as a piano technician to share that joy with others, ensuring that every piano in our community is well-maintained, cherished for its unique character, and ready to create beautiful memories.

Nicole brings a unique blend of technical expertise and a lifelong passion for the piano to every service she provides. As a dedicated technician, her service offerings include tuning, repair, restoration, and other services tailored to meet the specific needs of each pianist and piano owner. Nicole understands each piano has its own story and personality, and she cares for every instrument as if it were her own.

Prior to Bakeman Piano Services, Nicole apprenticed under Frank Fischer of Precision Piano in Northport, Maine.

Additional musical and technical mentors include: Steven Orlofsky, Phil Haynes, Jack Moser, and Phil Norris.

Music organizations served include, The Stonington Opera House, MDI Summer Choral, Criterion Theater, Kneisel Hall, and the Reversing Falls Sanctuary.

Nicole is a member of the Piano Technicians Guild and is a Trustee of the Brooksville Education Foundation.
